The Fox and Hounds is set in the heart of National Trust walking land in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

With the cosy & welcoming atmosphere, log fires in the winter & beautiful large woodland garden for the summer, we really are the perfect pub! Sample from our superb menu of fresh local produce and wonderful fish dishes or our range of real ales, lagers & wines.

Our hours for food are:
Monday to Saturday 12pm to 3pm
Wednesday to Saturday 6pm to 9pm
Sunday from 12pm to 4pm

The Fox and Hounds is a traditional country pub set within National Trust woodland, with fine walks and views from the top of Toys Hill.

Nearby attractions include: Chartwell House – former home of Sir Winston Churchill and Hever Castle childhood home of Anne Boleyn.

It is said to be the highest pub in Kent, and has been the site of an establishment selling beer since the early nineteenth century.

Aside from the picturesque setting, the F&H boasts a fine range of home cooked seasonal food, and wide drinks selection. It is a family run pub, led by Tim and Jo Harvey since December 2016.
